BUCKSHORN SPORTSMEN'S CLUB  was founded in 1961.  The club owns 128.5 acres of wooded land which includes a 28-target archery range and a clubhouse that features; a 20 yard indoor archery range (equipped with Morrell Target butts), a kitchen and restrooms, a 100 yard rifle range, 50 yard black powder range, 75 foot pistol range, trap shooting, and sporting clays are some of the other facilities offered by the club.

DUES & MEMBERSHIP CARDS Dues may be paid now through the first membership meeting in February on the 12th. 2012 cards are available.

PELLET GUN: Pellet rifle competitions are held over the winter months on Monday nights and pellet pistol competitions are held on Wednesday nights. Come on out, spend $3.00 and have some fun shooting your pellet guns at the clubhouse.

NATIONAL FIELD ARCHERY ASSOCIATION: Buckshorn Sportsmen's Club has become a member of the NFAA. NFAA Mid-Atlantic Indoor Championship to be held on March 3^rd & 4^th of 2012. SFAA State Indoor Championship Shoot will be held here on March 24th & 25th of 2012. SFAA Field Shoot will be held here on May 27, 2012. SFAA Hunter Shoot will be held here on June 24, 2012. SFAA Field & Hunter (F/H) Shoot will be held in August 2012. N.J. SFAA Field Outdoor Championship will be held here on August 25 & 26, 2012. FRIDAY NIGHT INDOOR:  November thru March - registration 6:00-7:30 PM. First & second rounds: NFAA 300 (Blue Face) round; Third round: Vegas 600; Fourth round: Flint round; Fifth round: NFAA or FITA.  Handicap scoring for awards.  Adults & youths: $6.00, Bantams: $2.00. See Archery page for a copy of the Friday night schedule.

SUNDAY OUTDOOR TOURNAMENTS:  Year-round.  Dates as listed on the TCAA schedule - 28 bow hunter targets. Registration 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon.  Adults & Youths: $8.00, Bantams: $3.00, Families: $24.00 Maximum.

SUNDAY SPORTING CLAYS:    Closed until further notice. If any BSC members would like to form a committee to re institute sporting clays, contact the Officers or Trustees at any regularly scheduled Trustees Meeting.

NOTES:    Youths are age 13-15 years and Bantams are age 12 years and under.  If there is inclement weather on a scheduled outdoor TCAA Tournament, an indoor (NFAA 300 round) tournament will be held.

SATURDAY WORK PARTIES:   Upcoming work party (date to be announced) to prepare for the NFAA Indoor Mid-Atlantic Shoot in March (see NFAA listing above). Work parties will start about 9:00 A.M. Contact your Vice-President for any specific information about the work party (see Contacts page for phone number).

WORK PARTY - Contact the Vice-President for the date to install the pistol range roof. Roofing has recently been donated by a couple of members and needs screws and a crew to install the roof.

ROAD CLEANUP - Date and time to be announced.

Breakfast and lunch are available from the kitchen at Sunday tournaments.

BUCKSHORN SPORTSMEN'S CLUB MEMBERSHIP: Contact an officer, trustee or member for an application. One year membership is $100.00 ($50.00 if retired or disabled). Your attendance at a club meeting is required for your application to be considered, unless you know two members who can vouch for your character.
